We are committed to creating sustainable, short and long term solutions for Haitian redevelopment by connecting communities and resources through social and technological innovation.
We need people passionate about understanding a world outside of the box. If you feel like its time to affect some real change in your life and those in need, we offer you a couple of possibilities...
FIRST: Connect to our community database. This is the best way to get involved, Bill Murray would say, "Baby Steps, to connecting."
SECOND: Once you connect, reach out to your community match (aka doppleganger) and say Hey, need some help?
THIRD: Once you read about your new buddy's needs, see if you can get your friends on board to help.
FOURTH: Look at our active programs, start a brainstorm forum together to think about immediate and long term goals to help your new friends rebuild. If you need help you can talk to our team.

How we need you....
We are fulfilling our mission by creating sister city relationships between US and Haitian cities. Initially we are connecting Gainesville, FL with our sister city, Jacmel, Haiti in an effort to create a focused and accountable effort to rebuild. The following iniatives are currently in progress:
-Providing immediate disaster relief to affected areas
-Assisting with the rebuilding of schools, libraries and other valuable social institutions through partnerships
-Video, letter exchanges and social networking.
-Cultural collaborations through art, music and film.
-Developing trade distribution for Haitian arts, products and commodities.
-Sustainable housing design & groundbreaking.
